Hi Friends, 3D
technology has successfully penetrated into consumer markets based on the
popularity of 3D movies in the theaters, which has greatly upgraded the
industry. A lot of great and famous 3D movies, such as Avatar, Sholay3D are so popular nowadays. Some of these 3D
movies are also available as 3D Blu-ray DVDs & Youtube which you can watch
quite conveniently at home if you have a device with 3D support. People usually
use a 3D player to play 3D video and play 3D Blu-ray on computer.
3D Systems:
- Anaglyph 3D System: It cheap old color based system, used on everywhere.
- Polarized 3D Systems: It is used on our local cinema theatre.
- Active shutter 3D system: It is used on 3D TV .
We
used Anaglyph 3D method for our System. Anaglyph 3D is the name given to
the stereoscopic 3D effect achieved by means of encoding each eye's image using
filters of different (usually chromatically opposite) colors, typically red and
cyan. Anaglyph 3D images contain two differently filtered colored images, one
for each eye. When viewed through the "color-coded" "anaglyph
glasses", each of the two images reaches one eye, revealing an integrated
stereoscopic image. The visual cortex of the brain fuses this into perception
of a three dimensional scene or composition.

3D Movie in SBS (Side-by-Side) format ( Download on Internet )
Anaglyph Red and Blue 3D Glasses ( Buy it from e-bay or anywhere )
Software such as VLC Media Player 2.1.2

There are many Stereoscopic 3D player available on web many are paid, but I recommended you to use free software called VLC Media player You should use at least VLC version 2.1.1 or latest

How
to watch VLC Media Player:
Open your video file with VLC. The file format (MP4, AVI, MKV, etc.) is
irrelevant, but as said before, the movie must in in SBS 3D format.
Put on your 3D Glasses and enjoy the
movie in 3D …
- Open the SBS 3D Movie in VLC
- Select from the menu “Tools” the option “Effects and Filters” (or press CTRL+E).
- Go to the “Effects and Filters” menu
- Choose the tab “Video Effects“, then the “Advanced” tab, check the option “Anaglyph 3D” and click “Close“.Set VLC to Anaglyph video display
How to watch on Youtube:
